moments of pleasure...

i had a few ideas about my time off, one of which was to see BIG TREES, i saw many, (no didn't quite make it to the redwoods) but on the washington and oregon coast i saw many that did justice for me. it's really hard to tell from this pictue, but i could of easily parked two of my trucks next to this tree before it started to wrap around. SIMPLY WONDERFUL

heading into olympia national park. sadly i didn't spend much time there. actually this area really reminded me of living in north carolina, with the lush green trees and narrow roads.
visited my grand parents in sequim washington. i spend three days there, i feel extremely blessed to have had this time with them. it was a bonding time for us. i have never had a one on one time with them. i heard a lot of stories of there young adult life, and spent some time around sequim to see the area. i absolutely loved my time with them. THANKS GUYS
one of my favorite things in nature is waterfalls. i was able to see many from the road, and a few that i hiked too as well. im always amazed at how much water is falling.

i went up over a really amazing pass (name is escaping me) but there was still quite a bit of snow on the side of the road. and many spots where avalanches had just been cleared from the road. (made me not miss winter so much. im feeling grateful to be going into the summer season)
okay one of my desires is to walk across a rope bridge. this one was old cables and wood planks, however seeing it in this condition made me think twice about it.

all in all this part of the trip was wonderful
