im changed again..

well i made it back to boulder utah, where once again my heart is changed due to three things, the desert, the people, and the mountain. (in no particular order). i feel whole when i walk this land. my heart is open and growth happens. im in love!!!
how can i not be in aaaahhhhhh
the aspens are by far my most inspiring place to be. i lay under them, in them, around them, on them and no matter what im changed. i can write, my mind is open to their teachings. thank you. boulder mountain has the largest growth of aspens in the united states. no wonder i love this place.
meeks lake. i was able to take a nice long solo hike one day to the top of boulder mountain (somewhere around 11,000 feet) then tuck back into the woods to find this wonderfully beautiful spot.
hannah and i hiked to magath lake. it was a wonderful warm days, lots of amazing clouds that hannah wanted to get lost in, beautiful flowers, cold creek crossings and great talks. thanks girl
almost on top of boulder mountain
hannah and susan looking at the map. we hiked up to bownes point. visited a couple of lakes along the way. there was a section where we hiked through a burn area, it was amazing how green it was. the contrast with the black burnt trees. WOW
a bit windy on top
anastasia, hannah, and i hiked down deer creek. this section was so inviting we had to walk in it for a while. i feel really lucky to have experienced new area's on the mountain this trip.
i was able to spend quite a bit of time on my bike, it was really hot, so most of my rides were up on the mountain to the summit. however one day i biked to the kiva koffee house to have breakfast. it was an amazing ride going over the hogs back. i haven't biked it since my bike tour, really nice to be back. the ride back was great, i loved coming up the 14% grade. i thought it would hurt me and my back, but all did great. not to mention how wonderful breakfast was. thanks sara for being open, and making my choice of breakfast.
riding through this is totally amazing.
boulder summit, 9600 feet. AAAAHHHH it was great. i was able to bike up to the summit five or six times, each time i learned a bit more about myself, healed a little and grew a lot. thank you boulder mountain. I WILL BE BACK!!!
ryan playing during open mike at the music festival. ryan is one of my new favorite people. we seem to get each other. thank you for all your kindness, love, generosity, and triangle time.
hannah also played at the festival. when i first met hannah i didn't care much for her music, but now not only do i care for it, i love it, i crave a lot of it. she played a lot of songs that she wrote in boulder, on the mountain and in the desert, I GOT IT.

hannah, you got talent, you got what it takes, give of yourself people are changed because of your music and because who you are. thank you for sharing of yourself with me. MY LIFE IS CHANGED. i laugh when i think about the fact that it was our backs that first brought us together. continue to amaze me

well more to come on my adventures in boulder. thanks for reading, miss and love you all
