okay well all fours are now built and ready to stand. big day for me and the cabin. blake and i chilling behind bars.
dad putting on the top plate.
blake as usual is being mr. weirdness. both dad and blake took the day off to help me. thank you guys, but they did make it clear how much money they were loosing in the process. i told them it would all pay off when they come over to visit.
all walls standing!!!
canyon river, kailey hope, and ashlyn came over to grandma jo jos's while stacey was in utah, so i put them to work. they wanted to take pictures like they were in jail. those are quite the sad faces. they had such a great time working that day. i could not have done it with out them and jo jo. thanks guys.
teaching them how to read the level
and tape measure. kailey was our little scribe and canyon was in charge of the tape. they both helped with holding the wood for cutting and making sure everything was level.
jo jo has been a great help though out this whole project. mom i truly am blessed to have you as my mother. you are ALWAYS lending a hand and making sure im fed right. jo jo and my dad built their house 30 years ago, and she says its all coming back.... well not all but the aches and pains sure are. love you mom.
canyon needed a little break.
ashlyn finally got out of bed in the early afternoon and i put her to work as well. we got a lot done that day. thank you everyone!!!
more silly pictures.
grandma jo jo sure loves her kiddo's
well i would say i now have 90 percent of the plywood up. i have learned so much about building it has been great. before the cabin i had build a small book shelf, other than that i am a complete novice. the good thing is its still standing and looks like its gonna stay that way. thank you to everyone who has come by to say hi or lend a hand or has donated materials. im still thinking using salvaged materials is the way to go!!! love you all

This post made me sentimental. Seeing those kids that I love and that hammock. :) I do use and love my sleeping bag and always think of you when I use it. :)
By the way, I always have a hard time posting because I can't read the words and letters to "prove I'm not a robot."
