nine months... what happens in nine months time, that's right a BABY! but that is not what im talking about, what is happening for me the next nine months? that's right, im teaching elementary school for the next nine months! CRAZY ME, who would of thought that i would have moved to boulder to hike, and bike, and play only to take a teaching job that will tie me down a bit. well mom, you asked for it, aren't you the one who told me to settle down a bit before i turned 30. well i turn 30 in three months, so there you have it.
the school has 12 children all of whom seem great, lots of energy (not me, the kids) they sure keep me on my toes. im teaching pe, music, art (my three favorites) math, YUCK, spelling and reading. oh yea also keyboarding, plus im gonna be the school librarian. so i have my hands full for a while, plus im gonna be still working up at hills and hollows for the next couple of months. so 6 days a week, im a working girl. however school is only 4 days a week so that is WONDERFUL.
i got another bee sting on my other arm, again no epi pen, but really big, swollen, and red. not to mention ITCHY. susan (my yurt rommie) came home late one night a said to drink some tincture she made out of plants. let me tell you, all that did was make me DRUNK!!! that's right, i was drunk as a skunk, and woke up with a really nice hang over to sit through church with. silly susan (by the way it did nothing for my arm)
the ryans, are my neighbors, they are so good to me, kari (the mother) has made it clear to me, not to buy anything that i could pick out of her garden. she is wonderful. the rest of the family is a joy as well. i spend most my time over hanging out with them (when im not working) they are my family away from my family. lots of hugs from the girls, not to mention mike and kari's great cooking. THANK YOU TO THE RYANS!
well i miss you all like crazy and can't wait to see you again

i don't think i'll be in logan for the spring. though i know i mentioned i might transfer as early as this spring.
good luck with the teaching thing... i think it's great to be a part of the lives of the next generations.
and remember, Susan's bee sting tincture only makes you forget about the bee sting, not that it makes anything go away :) haha!
