well this last weekend, i was planning on focusing a lot on the things that i need to get done, darren and friend J (Jason) asked if i could go hiking with them, i declined, knowing how much i needed to work on some things before i left for winter count, but then... with no hesitation i changed my mind and went hiking with them to lower calf creek falls. i have been here many a times, but i really like it, and knowing that the tourist are no longer around i jumped on the idea of being down there by our selves (which we were) it was a very nice hike. good times with darren and my new friend J

there i am.well the hike was fun, i knew that i had saturday that i could work on my "needed stuff", BUT THEN... katherine called and asked if we could go hiking, SO...
WE DID! this is upper calf creek falls, the water was hardly coming over to it isn't showing up in the picture, but i was nice. it was her first time there and she LOVED it. i was happy to have taken her. we played around by the pools and then headed up the canyon. we found a little slot (very short) but fun, had a snack and then headed back. i asked her if she wanted to take a new way to the trail head, but she was having desires to take a little swim in the pool. (let me start by saying, that in august i swam in the pool and it took my breath away) now it is february, i thought she was CRAZY!!!
