fun times at galena lodge...

okay so you wanted pictures here are a few from last week, unfortunately i deleted my camera before my pics got saved so i lost a few, oh well there will be tons to more ahead,

this one is a nice little hike to a mountain lake

so many of you know that i injured my back in 2005 almost 4 years ago (july 10th to be exact) and since then a few things i have not done, mountain biking, and climbing for starters. i have felt a fear intertwined with daily back pain, HOWEVER being at galena with avid bikers and climbers, well........
my first crack climbing ever, i didn't think i would be able to even get off the ground, the start was a bit tricky, but guess what I MADE IT TO THE TOP, and DIDN'T have back pain. I had a blast.

moes and his wonderfully, beautiful calf. (my favorite part on a guy) torey and moes are dating, well sort of dating, she isn't into relationships and feelings and such, and he well, he just sort of goes with the flow.

we did three different climbs the third of which was a little nasty bugger, i hung in one spot for ever but didn't give up, after a bunch of sweating and a FEW knotty words, i made it to the top and then yelled "yea take that you little @#$%* (sorry mom, it just came out) anyway the climbing was great. on our way home we stopped at some hot springs and soaked for a while. good times for sure.
baker lake, nice and cold, ice still floating, actually three nights ago it snowed, the mountains were beautiful. it has been very cold and wet here since i arrived, however yesterday and today were blue skies. NICE,

some other things i have been doing but don't have pictures of yet are, first MOUNTAIN BIKING, yep im really doing it, and it feels great. my back hurts on the up hill climbs, not to mention my LUNGS!!! aaaahhhhhhh the elevation is killing me, but what hurts will only make me stronger i guess. and second horse trail riding, we have some cowboys that live across the street for the summer to do trail rides and they give us rides for free so that we will encourage our customers to go. between sitting on a saddle and my bike seat, my booty HURTS!

there are trails everywhere here, i haven't been disappointed in my new playground.
have done a few days of trail clean up, found this sign and had to take a picture of it.
even though toilet paper is not on this list, it takes a while, and its nasty to pick up so don't litter PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE
