galena summit 8701 feet. well i decided i needed to do a little more recumbent bike riding, i haven't been on him for well since last fall. i had good intentions of riding to school this spring but with the windy boulder weather well needless to say i didn't ride to school since last fall. but i hopped on my bike and took off, a few thousand vertical feet latter...
i made it. i loved the ride, it wasn't a very hard climb, the percent wasn't bad. the only thing that was not good about the ride, is somewhere between boulder utah, washington and back into idaho i lost my mirror. i didn't like not being able to see if cars were coming up on me. but i made it. i wanted to do it in under 60 minutes and i made it in 61 minutes and 10 seconds. i guess for my first time, and not having my recombent legs in shape it wasn't so bad. i made it home however in less then 11 minutes, fast and fun!
this is galena peak, right behind where i live. im planning on hiking it soon. its 11, 600 nice little climb.
