6-8 feet of snow...

well after days and days of toying over the idea of going back to boulder or staying in galena for the winter i decided. im staying in galena. sad vs. happy, things are up in the air as far as my emotions go. but for now that is the decision. it has been made and i will have a great time here.

why did i choose galena over boulder???

good question, i have no idea really, i love both areas, my heart is in boulder and will be for a long time. the community, the kids at school, my friends, the church, the amazing hiking playground, both desert and mountain, my cottage, the list could go on and on.

but i chose galena why... i guess right now to answer that question is i can become financially ahead. i can get my truck payed off by fall, and my student loans paid off by spring which means i will be DEBT FREE and that is a really exciting good feeling thing.

so there you have it. that is why, but in the mean time i am gonna live it up here. this place is full of fun adventure. the summer is packed with hiking, biking, climbing, and hanging out at hundreds of different lakes and the winter well is BACK COUNTRY TELEMARK SKIING. yeeeeeeeeeeee hhhhhaaaaaaaa!!! i can't wait. the snow dept at the lodge is around 6-8 feet of snow if not more. everyone gets up early enough for a morning run and then a evening run after work. thats sounds great to me.

im sad to say good bye to the school kids, my heart is still with them. and i promise to visit soon.

life is good, im happy and feeling healty (still tired on the uphill bike climbs though, i guess that normal)
