the hitch hikers...

thats right, little blakers came to visit. hitch hiking from spokane with kelly they traveled first through Montana via missoula down through salmon (lots of mosquitoes) and into the sawtooths. i was pumped to see them, they arrived late monday right after i biked the summit road. we hung out, laughed talked, did some slack lining and then went to bed. tuesday night is ketchum alive. live music in town with lots of fun stuff going on so after work we headed into the metropolis of ketchum bought some pizza, ran into todd (from work) and headed to the park.
todd and i enjoying our time listening to the music and laughing and playing
one of the bands, usually the pavement is full of fun frisky dancers
pointing to my wfr water bottle while in the back ground mike and tosha are about to lock lips... todds checking it out
blake and i, im about to give him a wet willy... not really
after the bands where done, black headed up to the stage to do some beat boxing, but WILL (the guy with the mike) said no way. he didn't know what beat boxing was and wasn't willing to find out. poor blakers got shut down.
so instead we found anna lee (hippie lady) and started rocking out to the drums.

Wednesday was my day off so we decided to make a day of it and go for a hike to titus lake, about 8 miles round trip from the lodge, little did we know the hike was all uphill, and when i mean up hill, i mean uphill, the last mile or so was a very nice climb up the switch backs. i was so happy to see the lake, however on the way we met mr. nose tree

on the switch backs
aaaaahhhhh at last, titus lake, nice green and clean
kelly
blake, they both decided to jump in, i on the other hand was smart and stayed in the warm sun. maybe i missed out, BUT MAYBE I DIDN'T... i seem to hate cold water. and that was really cold water. they screamed when the came out of the water, but had to do it a few time. they even got dressed started hiking out, and then turned around to do it again. FOOLS I THINK!!!
the three of us,
blake showing off his muscles. actually blake did carry me across two river crossings so that i didn't have to take off my shoes. THANKS BLAKE
he's a larson, a GOOF BALL

well we had a great time together but all good things have to come to a end
they were packed and headed out mid day thursday. we had a good time with lots of laughs. bye guys love you, be safe
just about to put out the thumb.

now what goes up must come down right??? thats right so when i thought i was saying my goodbyes to them really was a see you in three days. they staying in ketchum and i met up with them on sunday. SUNDAY the day that blake will never forget... (i will let him tell you) anyway they were still around so we went to church, met the greatest family who took us in for lunch, dinner, a game of 50 states, sleep out on the grass under the stars and almost full moon, breakfast and laughs the next day. THANKS to doug, lisa, lindsay, kurt, jordan, and michael you guys are the greatest.

i had monday off so i told blake i would drive him 100 miles and drop him off on the road. however after the 100 miles, we went to the lake, ate pizza, hotspringed it up, drove up amazing mountain roads, ate some ice cream (for dinner) had a campfire, and slept under the stars. then i left them on the road and i headed for work while they headed for there next adventure...
redfish lake (near stanly) i left there side for three minutes to run to the bathroom, when i got back they were soaking wet, blake was acting like he was gonna push kelly into the lake, then actually lost balance and in they went, luckily kelly got her phone on the dock as she was going in... i couldn't believe it
wet and cold
meanwhile i am the champion of... well i guess this post

since blake was wet, he needed to borrow some dry clothes from kelly, she had a extra pair of spandex shorts...
yep, cute little blake, strutting his stuff. a lady walking behind him said and i quote "cute tush" luckily i had some extra pants for him to wear when we went for pizza
the sawtooths

its a wonderfully beautiful place
camping, blake drumming for us
our ice cream dinner, yummy vanilla with peanut butter
our camp spot
oooopppppssss how did this picture get in here a second time, oh well.

k my time with blake was the best, im really thankful that he stuck around in ketchum and that i had the opportunity to be with him for a few more days, I LOVE YOU BLAKE, THANKS FOR COMING MY WAY.
