well i thought i would just share a few pictures from today's snowshoe tour, first off i want to say that it was wonderful because today is the first time in quite a while i didn't have to wear a down coat on my guided tours. the temperature was really nice. even though it was a bit over cast the views were still quite amazing. this is looking at galena peak from pio ridge.

me

a snowshoe hair track. we see quite a few tracks, and not so many animals, they tend to hide out when they hear us coming, however in the last couple of days i have seen a fox and two coyote's. one of which actually skied with me for about a fourth of a mile. it was really quite wonderful. i was about 30 feet from him, when he finally decided i was not one of his kind and would rather take off then to hang out and see if his beautiful pelt would be hanging on my cabin wall (just kidding... well sort of)
