bicycle freedom...

as a young child i grew to love the freedom that my little yellow bike gave me, i rode everywhere on that bike, cj and i became best friends and took adventure in the warm summer days.  cj riding a blue BMX and i on my yellow white tail we roamed our new country home.  up and down the freshly graveled road, through the fields, to the pond and creek and down the big sledding hills were some of our favorite places to wander.  needless to say i fell in love with my wheels.  as i got older i biked to friends houses a few miles away and once in high school i even biked there.

living in the country was amazing and it taught me the importance of learning to be free and following my passions, which is my motto to this day.  i have had now had 14 different bikes and currently have three.  a friend of mine the other day said should i get a road bike or mountain and i say why limit yourself i have three, road, mountain, and touring bike.  opportunities are endless, bicycles have no walls, they are my freedom, my adventure.  my soul reaches new heights on my bike.

and so i sit here wondering why im typing and not riding right now, im off, im heading out, to see what adventure i can find today.  i love being here, back home where i grew up, back home where my first adventures began, im here now and learning once again about myself, my love for the outdoors, my love for freedom, my love for me bike.  keep peddling... i hope to see you on the road
