well the cabin is coming right along. one day at a time. little by little, screw by screw. im loving how my whole family is just jumping right, jo jo made the best burgers today and came over still wearing her cute little apron. thanks mom those were great.
well the plan was to see if dad could use his tractor to lift and move the floor. he hooked up his cable to some bolts and away we went, the tractor did a perfect job, so tomorrow the plan is to place the floor on the concrete posts.
we got all the plywood cut and the bottom side of the floor all done. what we did is put down a vapor barrier then plywood, then another layer of vapor barrier, maybe it is overkill, but i want this to keep all the critters out. (this is the underside of the floor.)
thanks mom and dad!!!
all the plywood is in and im one happy camper or should i say builder. thanks to judy for the plywood. salvaging is so much fun.
dad doing a good job supervising while eating his corn on the cob.
the second layer of vapor barrier. so tomorrow we will flip it over place it on the post, then it will be ready for me to stuff with insulation and put the floor on. i will for sure be spending a few nights sleeping out under the stars. this is getting exciting.
check out tiny house blogs, to see why its such a cool thing to live in small spaces.
and the full moon is rising. loving my new adventure and learning some great things along the way. thanks everyone!
