cabin building part 6...

 well i found the rest of the wood i needed to build my floor.  i took this truck load of 2x10, 2x8, and some 2x12's that i took off of dad's old trailer.  pulled a bunch of nails and screws and was about to go to work on the floor, but first i needed to fill the floor with insulation. 
 as always i was working against the clock and got the insulation and the vapor barrier done, but at dark. 
 the next day dad and mom, helped me lay out the floor and make the cuts. 
 there they are hard at work.  the floor took quite a bit of time, i was surprised at how long it took, but im finding once again working with salvaged wood, is a bit more tricky then just buying the best lumber and going to work.  im really happy with how everything is turning out. 
 a friend came up and helped me finish the floor.  im feeling really grateful for all the help that my parents, blake, and friends have given me so far on my project. 

and here i am actually laying on my floor!!!!

Nice looking floor. A lot of people pay good money for a patterned wooden floor like you have, but with the help of friends, sweat, time and a good looking saw, you have a wonderful start on your cabin.
