my next project was to frame in two windows that i had custom cut for the front gable wall. thank you best's for the windows, you guys really come through for me. it took me some time but i finally framed in the glass. i basically had to make the frame three times, one for around the glass and then i used some one by one's (thank you jon gaz for the wood you gave me) to hold the glass in place on both sides. once that was done i got to do it all again for the second window.

i asked blake if he could dedicate some time to helping on the front gable. we needed to work on getting the plywood up around the windows. i have really messed up both my arms now with tendinitis and am having a hard time holding the nail gun with out extreme pain. so THANK YOU blake for coming to my rescue. figuring out the angles and weird cuts was not exactly the easiest thing for us, neither of us payed much attention in math class it appears, but with a little time we were making progress. i was so impressed with our ability to make good cuts. blake did a great job up on the ladder figuring out everything.

and there it is the front of the cabin is now complete. im planning on putting up a nice big animal rack just below the two custom windows. i should add that the glass company actually cut my windows a bit different then i had planned, but they will work and let in quite a bit of light. oh and its nice that the snow has all melted, however the rain has not stopped in days. i take what i get i guess.
