im outside of twisp washington right now, got here on monday, and caught up with some of my primitive friends, lynx, rico, katie and others. killed some chickens for dinner along with road kill deer. (heart and ribs) really good. harvested some wild onions, mushrooms, and edible flowers. my time here so far has been good, camped out on sun mountain last night, Poured rain, (still is) ((not so much a sun mountain)) today my plan was to mt. bike, but i decided not to, it looks like the rain isn’t gonna let up for a day or so. Which is bad because tomorrow, im planning on helping out with a buffalo kill, and help process the meat. (sounds cold and wet, but at the same time a really good experience).
im thankful to have friends like lynx and rico, and see that life can actually truly be lived a different way. a way that i want to be more involved with. i love the way i feel when i am closer to my maker and mother earth. to get back to the roots, of life. to live outside the pavement and tall brick buildings. to be one with nature, one with God, one with others, one with self, one with the stars, one with the rains, and winds, and storms, to be one with...
