well i have a lot of wood, 106 pieces to be exact all standing tall to make sure they are dried out before putting them up on my ceiling. i wanted to have a much lighter look on the ceiling then on the wall to not darken the room too much, but at the same time i didn't want it to look brand spanking new. i found the perfect stuff. there is a lumber yard up the road 30 minutes that had this beautiful Douglas fir however the tarp came off during the winter (with out them knowing) and it started to weather the wood. just enough to give it amazing personality. i got a screaming good deal over the phone so i hooked up the trailer to my truck and off i went.
im tired of looking at this beautiful blue insulation (lol) but worried about putting it by myself, knowing i will have a very good neck kink by the end of it.
i borrowed a 12 foot ladder from the dixons, THANK YOU so much could not have done it with out it. and off i went, it took me a bit to get into the groove of it, but once i got going i got a good system down. i must have climbed up and down this ladder 500 times this day.

the edge of the ceiling to the top edge of the wall. beautiful, simply beautiful. and yes i have a total neck kink. i am now down with half the ceiling and need to give my neck and back a few days rest before i start on the second side. bye bye blue.
