so brandon came into town this weekend, and we had a BLAST! lots of hiking, hanging with friends, and getting to know each other a little... okay a lot more. the first day we hiked from magath point bench into upper calf creek, up the canyon and around to the trail head. what a view and a good time.
so brandon just couldn't resist jumping into the swimming hole. i told him he was crazy and that i cant even handle how cold it is in the hot days of august. but he is a guy, so he had to do it. something to prove i guess. he said he was glad he did it, but didn't need to do a second jump.
we found a nice little sandy spot to have snacks and play a little, he was willing to let me bury him in the sand. what a good sport. we had good times, it was a great time playing in the sand.
brandon seems to always be on top of things.so the day was fun, we spent about 5 hours in the sun, brandon was amazed at some of the rock formations, especially the iron bans. it was really fun seeing him so excited, it made me remember back 10 or so years ago when i started playing in southern utah. it was a joy.
spooky and peekaboo canyons, we brought elizabeth and jess with us, as usual we had a great time playing in the canyons, in spooky we hid from each other, needless to say lots of screaming. brandon ran ahead and scrambled up high, when we were walking underhim he dropped his hat, scared us to death, elizabeth thought that a rock was falling. ohhhh good times.

after making it out we let the boys have there fun, jumping bushes, the tuck and roll
ouch
and jess...
up and over...
even a bigger ouch. they both came out of it okay and laughing.
we decided to stop at devils garden on our way out, at one point i was being carried on brandons shoulders which was pretty scarry, brandon is 6'6" and then with me on his shoulders made me feel like i was about 17' feet in the air, he did a good job though and i was safe and sound.
the boys messing around again. i think jess really enjoyed having him around, usually elizabeth and i just hang out while jess is climbing around by himself, but today he had his playmate.

good time for sure. he left his coffee mug at my cottage, so i guess he will have to come back and see me again. brandon thanks for the good times.

Definitely a lot more.;) Those are some great pics Kandis. I love my bush jumping pic and I do look rather gay in spooky. I can handle it. I know my sexual preference,.. i think. It was a great time and looking through your album reminds me how great of a time I had. Thank you.
