galena lodge employee party, YEAH!!! what a day, actually i should say what a night, day and night. it all started sunday night at the lodge when a few of us got a little crazy in the lodge after hours, i wont go into any detail just know that not much sleep was had. we headed to the canyon stretch of the payette river got all suited up and it the water. we had such a great time, the weather was amazing, lots of laughs were had. 
part way down the river we stopped to go to some riverside hot springs, why is don wearing his helmet? good question no one else is. actually he had to duct tape his on (the buckle was missing) but we all think it's funny that in all the picture we have don is the only one wearing his helmet. (maybe he rode the short bus, i don't know)
small and shallow but nice and hot
at one point in the river you have to get out and portage the rafts, this section is a class six (you don't want to run it) so after carrying the rafts a short distance the guides rigged up a system and lowered the rafts down.
lowering the second raft, i wish i had a good picture of the whole class six rapid, but this gives you a little idea, that is white, fast, and scary.
all in all the day was great, no injuries and lots of fun.i have to say this is most likely the best employee party i have been to. THANKS DON AND ERIN for a great day and good memories.
