learn to be free and follow your passions...

i have wanted this last week to post something of importance, not that my other posts aren't important, they are what they are, but i wanted to do a continuation of my thankfulness post a few weeks back. (a reminder that post was my heart reaching out to the ones i love and thanking them for who they are) this post is a thankful post to my mother earth. she has done more for me than all the buildings and city blocks combined. the beauties that surround me have made me the person that i am today. edward abbey said "nature is indifferent to our love, but never unfaithful" and that sums it up, mother earth has not be unfaithful to me, she has given me everything i have always asked for, and needed. please protect her and respect her. before she changes her mind.

i post special pictures today, of things that have changed my life. reasons i will leave to your imagination, but know that each one of these has changed me, has formed into the person i am, has molded me.
"...let the woods and all the trees of the field praise the lord, and ye solid rocks weep for joy! and let the sun, moon, and morning stars sing together, and let all the sons of God shout for joy! and let the eternal creations declare his name forever and ever..." D&C 128:23
the waving of a tree on top of a mountain a magic wand in natures hand.
adventure is not in the guide book, beauty is not on the map. seek and you shall find.
keep close to nature's heart and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the wood. WASH YOUR SPIRIT CLEAN
i feel so blessed to be here, (this is me feeling blessed) to enjoy all that i have been given. to experience life, so many, TOO many are confined to responsibilities that tie them down. i feel sorry for those who have never walked bare footed on the earth, who have never left civilization. civilization is a nice place to visit, but i would never want to live there. i want to run outside and yell at the top of my lungs, and giggle (yes giggle) and roll around in the dirt, and sleep under the stars and wish on the shooting ones. i want to kiss trees more often then i do, i want to swim alone in mountain lakes, and smell the flowers and the weeds (what is really a flower but someone decided it wasn't), and watch a bird feed its young, and listen to the wind play with my hair, and just GET LOST.

a lady came into the bike shop the other day, i asked her if there was anything i could help her with, she said "only if you know the meaning of life" i said "that's easy, its to LEARN TO BE FREE AND FOLLOW YOUR PASSIONS" and i truly believe that.

a thanks out to all of you who i love so much, who have made it possible for me to be who i am

Speaking of the beauty of the earth, I thought you might enjoy reading a post my mom contributed on a blog recently. http://fourperspectives.blogspot.com/
