flower song...

(continued, from my travels...)

caught up with john michael, asia, and wetstone at brooke medicine eagle's place. she calls her space flower song, it is quite the sanctuary. he place has whetted my appetite for my future. on under two acres she has just under 100 fruit trees, a nice size garden, a pond, and a beautiful dipping pool (for bathing). her land is lush. food on one's land is essential.

helped brooke today with harvesting some more fruits and veggies, set up the green house for winter and spend the afternoon laying under a cherry tree watching the sky go by. a dragonfly twice has landed on my naked skin, i smile and actually giggle out loud, wondering what it would be like to be one. to have the freedom to roam about.

i can hear the water spilling into the dipping pond and watch a hawk fly overhead. where did civilization go wrong i wonder. why are so many scared to sleep on the ground and cook on a hot bed of coals. watch the sun set and the stars come out. i wonder how many people feel the need to walk bare footed on mother earth, to feel grounded, for their souls to lay on the earth and rest there head on a rock. how many people crave this but are too afraid to reach out and grab it?

im excited for my future, im excited to learn and grow more. im excited to meet others like me-hopefully someone to share my days with and lay next to, laugh together... cry together. just be together...one, and the dragon fly has landed again on me and i smile. maybe this creature is my companion today, to make me smile... and i do.
