this is the way...

this is the way, walk ye in it...

(writing from my latest travels)

i see the stars nightly, and listen to the holw of the coyote and the chirping of the crickets. i listen to the aspen leaves fluttering in the wind and the smell of dew in the air. wonders... all of it is wonders. why am i so lucky? blessed to live here and now, in a time while i can roam free like the four legged ones. this is truly better then nectar to my tongue. my angel card today was the word inspiration. what does it mean i wonder? is it for me to inspire something with in myself or another, or is it simply to be inspired by another. both i hope. i see passion in eyes, a determination to be free and to follow ones heart. my dream is to never stop growing and developing who i am.

each others lives are only understood if shared. too many people are caught up in themselves, talking about this and that. stuff that truly doesn't matter. it saddens me to know that they have so much chatter they can't and don't hear what truly is going on, their lives are so fast they don't see the "in between" stages, when a tree is budding in the spring, when flowers are blooming, when a fawn is losing it's spots. i want to see with both eyes, OPEN WIDE. i don't wan to blink, in fear that i will miss something huge, a valuable lesson, a lesson that could so easily be missed.

i can still feel heartbeats of my close friends who just hours ago where by my side. we parted ways in the local cafe drinking and splitting a basket of fries between the five of us. calling three different boarder patrol stations begging them to let me into canada without my passport so that our journey together could continue. i was even wearing my canadian visor i had just gotten at the thrift store in hopes to send the boarder patrol men good vibes about my wanting to cross into their land. sadly they headed north west, while i headed north east. parted once again by mountains and valley but our hears still beat as one.

Its about time you let us all know what you have been up to. It was so fun reading .... I felt like I was there looking at the stars and listening to the coyotes. Have a great week.

President Monson said today, "To live with gratitude always in our hearts is to touch heaven.". Thanks for reminding me what heaven is going to look and sound like.

Your favo inlaw....Annette
