so the three times i have been to north carolina to visit andrew and lisa really the only place i wanted to see was asheville, it a fairly large city about 75,000 people, (WAY TOO BIG FOR ME) but also has quite an influence of HIPPIES, so yes i would want to come check it out. andrew and lisa said they would make sure that CJ was taken care of so blake and i could head over there for the weekend.
i had to take this picture because, even though they are small mountains, they are mountains and the first ones i have seen in a month. the summit that we drove up to drop into asheville was 2763 feet.

well we made it. one of the main reasons why we came over on a friday was for the drum circle. blake is quite an amazing drummer, and i love to dance, so drum circle it is...

it was amazing how many folks came out for this event, it is in the main part of down town asheville, its free and its fun. the evening started out with a good number of folks drumming and dancing, but by the end of the night, it was PACKED.
can you see blake?

blakes friend jason let us crash at his place, he too has a hang, they had quite a bit of fun playing together. jason even came out and busked (street performed) with us on the streets.

as blake performed, i drew.

this guy mark told me he loved my art work and wondered if i ever did anything with color, i told him i have done a little, but right now all i have is cardboard. about 30 minutes later he came back by with a sketch pad, colored pencils and a sharpener. i was touched, and he was excited to give, told me to keep drawing and start selling my stuff.

blake made some good money that day busking, so he decided to treat me to dinner, we went to the mellow mushroom a local pizza joint. we had quite a bit of fun and bought some fresh strawberries from a old guy walking around selling them. (not sure what our faces are all about)

walking through down town, yep showing off my art from the day.
well asheville was fun, blake said on the drive out "what happens in asheville, stays in asheville, so some/most of the stories are left untold, but know this... WE HAD A BLAST!!!
thanks blake for a awesome time, its been fun hanging with you and getting to know you more.
