smoothie heaven...

well i have had quite a bit of time on my hands, thought i would share with you some of the things that i do to fill my days. drawings, smoothie making, bike rides (they have a small gym here) and guitar. cj is now able to get out of bed for a few hours at a time to walk around. we started by walking up and down the walgreen rows (yep that was a blast) ((said with totally sarcasm)) but for him it was good to get him up and walking, walgreens is just right next door.

okay the bike picture was super fun to draw, the quotes are...

my feet want to pedal my bicycle
always wear a helmet
dig deep
bicycles have no walls
ride naked it adds color to your cheeks
go round and round
bikes, another form of birth control
bike around the world
ride your bike

another lizard drawing. (to see the first scroll down a bit)

the backside of a guitar

these where all fun and simple fast drawings, its something that i can do that is quiet for while cj sleeps. our sleeping pattern is pretty backwards. he is up most the night tossing, and turning then sleeps most the morning into the early afternoon.

andrew brought us over the "NINJA" an amazing blender. it has six blades in it. so daily i make us a really YUMMY smoothie. similar to heaven in your mouth. (not to be confused with coconut ice cream heaven in your mouth, as some of my closest friends know about)

anyway the smoothies are quite amazing, this one had in it, plain yogurt, grapes, apples, bananas, frozen berries, spinach, celery, alfalfa sprouts and the main ingredient LOVE.

and here it is. SO YUMMY.

so when i checked us into this place, one of the agreements (that i had to sign) was no musical instruments to be played. well for the first few days i did my best not to be bothered by that, but then i realized i play pretty quiet and for sure i could keep it that way so...

yep, i busted out andews taylor and played away. im learning (well trying to learn) to finger pick (which is much quieter than strumming) so when cj is up and feeling well enough i dink around with the guitar a bit.

things are getting better out here in north carolina, cj is starting to feel a change in his head pressure (still really painful) but things are shifting he says, which is a great sign that the treatments are starting to take hold. keep your prayers coming. love and miss you all.
