"walk away quietly in any direction and taste the freedom of the mountaineer, camp out among the grasses and green meadows, in craggy garden nooks full of nature's darlings. climb the mountains and get their good tidings. nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. the winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. as age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but nature's source never fail." john muir
i toke this picture a couple of months ago when i first came to north carolina, a hint of spring i love how this area is surrounded by tree's that will soon be full of life and lush, and green. these flowers were the first to come alive, their courage is attractive, their want of a fresh start exhilarating. now i have gone back and you can no longer look through the trees to find and find a glimpse of spring, it is everywhere. each tree is full of life, full of love, green, everywhere. i love it. i come here to trail run (yes im taking up the sport) it is empty of noise and people, i find rest here. my cares drop off like autumn leaves. north carolina a great place to play.
