night time snowshoe...

this is the sort of views that i get while out snowshoeing. it is lovely here in the winter, and oddly enough i haven't been cold since the winter arrived.
in fact i learned tonight that this orange light down is WAY TO HOT to wear while snowshoeing. i actually sweat ed through the coat to were it was wet when i got back. most of my snowshoe hikes start out at dusk and finish in the dark of the night. however the moon is half full so i will be enjoying some really nice full moon hikes very soon. i love the peace of the night, still and quiet. it gives me time to think and thank God for all the wonderful things and people in my life.
john got his telemark ski gear today. (ski's boots, poles, and skins) we were both so excited i had to post him wearing his boots, look at that face... isn't it screaming " I WANT TO TELE -SKI" by the way mom those are my cool new looking shades. (roy found them on the trail in boulder and passed them my way)

Hadn't seen the blog for awhile. As usual, loved the scenery, however the white stuff looks alittle scary.
Happy Birthday. Love you, MOM
